Sydney Roosters 2024 Indigenous Jersey Adult
The 2024 Sydney Roosters Indigenous Jersey is a personal dedication to Rooster #529, Ron Saddler, a proud Wiradjuri descendant.
Designed by his granddaughter, Chloe, the jersey is highlighted by the goanna totem featured on the front, with the lines on the side representing the path taken throughout Ron's life, filled with many different twists and turns.
The blues represent water, in reference Murwillumbah - to the town that Ron and his family resided in - which is located close to the coastline and has a main river running through.
On the back of the jersey are five circles. The central circle represents Ron's immediate and extended family, while the smaller circles represent each team that Ron played for, including the Roosters, NSW, Australia and Murwillumbah.
This jersey is a representation of the commitment and impact Ron had on the rugby league community and the spirit that remains today that continues to shine through his friends and family.
